Yo Jutt Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Well due to a slow down in work it looks like I won't be traveling for work for a few months. Now that I'm home in the evenings I have a lot more time on my hands to get creative. I ordered a few goodies from model round up. So I decided to start with my all time favourite car, the 1969 charger. Just hope I can do it justice. I'm going to be adding a few parts box pieces that I have salvaged from other models for this build. Intake and blower are from the 68 vette. The wheels and tires are from the 1970 Boss 302. The hemi is from a 68 Dodge Dart. And the valve covers from the special edition 32 5 window coupe. Now I'm trying to build my dream car "based" off the fast and furious semi gloss charger. Not trying for an exact replica. My skills aren't to that level and I would much like to enjoy and finish this build rather than see it sit in the box due to frustration. Comments and suggestions are more than welcome! Here are a few pics of the parts I've gathered. Also a reference pic of the look I'm trying to achieve. Only i will be painting in gloss black.Didn't do anything other than gather parts.

Yo Jutt Posted May 2, 2015 Author Posted May 2, 2015 Well while waiting for the final coat of paint to dry on the supercharger assembly I got started on the distributer Last model I built I got some advice that my plug wires were a little too big. Found some of this inside an HDMI cable. Hope it looks a bit better!! Again thanks for looking guys!
Yo Jutt Posted May 2, 2015 Author Posted May 2, 2015 And the work done to the valve covers. Just touch them up with a little flat black and I'm all set!
