Here are some early pics. of a new item that I am working on. This will be a variation of a Strange Engineering narrowed 4-link rear suspension system. This will all be done in resin. It will incorporate multiple parts combined to assemble into the finished product. It will have the main axle body, center gear section, 4 individual 4-link brackets with separate spacers, two outer hubs, brake calipers and rotors and the 4-link bracket cross brace.

No machining here, just good old fashioned hand crafting and cast in resin to make for a more affordable detailed rear suspension unit for drag racing/pro street applications for anyone who may be interested. Hopefully the final piece comes out as nice as I envision it to be.

This is close to what I hope to accomplish

Here are some added pics. of what I am working on. This is still in the rough stages as I just finished the parts that are part of the one-piece mold. I pulled a different center section from the parts box to see how the finished product could look. The main center section is still curing in the two-part mold. There is also a cross brace that will be available to secure the bottoms of the 4-link brackets.

Here are the completed pics. of an assembled, complete unit. I designed this to be a certain width but also gave the builder the option to change the width based on the needs of their build with just a few small minor adjustments. The center section can be narrowed simply by sanding down the outer mounting hubs where the 4-link brackets attach. Of course if you narrow this section then on the final assembly the builder will also have to narrow the cross brace that attached to the 4-link brackets at the bottom. I made these adjustments on my assembled unit to show how it would look.
