Jantrix Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 From this guy here in Tampa, I'd like to congratulate the Blackhawks and their fans for a great win. The team played like champions and deserved it, sad as I am to say it. We'll get you next year.

Had Bishop been healthy and the scoring been what it was during the season there would have been a game 7.
Harry P. Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 The big Blackhawk parade and rally are tomorrow. Last time the Hawks won the cup a couple years ago, they held the rally in Grant Part (which is downtown right on the lakefront), which is obviously an open-air area and can easily accommodate probably a million people or more. But we've had so much rain the last few days that Grant Park is pretty waterlogged and soggy, and the city felt that huge crowds would cause millions of $$$ in damage to the grass and plants, so they moved the rally to Soldier Field. The problem is, Soldier Field's capacity is only about 66,000... way, waaaaaaaaay less than the number of people who would want to attend the rally. Tickets were free, but so many people went online to get them that the website crashed. Tickets were all gone within minutes, and almost as soon as that they started showing up on Craig's List and other places. A lot of people are going to be making a lot of $$$ selling their free tickets for big bucks online! At the last game of the series here at United Center, standing-room tickets with no view of the ice were going for a grand... or more!. I can only imagine what some of these Soldier Field rally tickets will go for!
Harry P. Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 That's what's called free enterprise Harry. I know. I have no problem with that. In fact, if I could have snagged a pair, I'd have put them up for sale too!
