engmecwilson Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 The story of this one starts with my wife (her name is Sonia) asking me to build this one for her, as she likes suv´s, jeeps and pickups...until having all parts painted, everything went very slow because of my care and dedication to do a fine and realistic model for her.... Because of 2010 IPMS Rio contest, I finished it in a hurry so I could enter the contest....on friday night I was glueing parts and as you know finishing stage is the most slow because of many details to be done....I went thru the night and 7:20 in the morning I could finish it. Just slept 2 hours and then went to the contest....a friend of mine that came from another state and was hosted in my house got scared with my easiness to avoid sleeping. The big surprise was that I got my first medal, and really didn´t expect because it was the first time I joined a contest....and surprise was bigger because it was the first place medal !!! Comments are welcome... Carrying home the trophy !!
