Found the first issue of Car Craft I've seen in two or three months at Walmart this weekend. It's the August issue. I think the last one I saw before that was June. Never saw a July issue anywhere, including newsstands and book stores.

Posting because last time this topic came up, several others posted that they couldn't find Car Craft anywhere, either.

Cover car is an orange '70 Challenger, with what appears to be Cragars. So there, haters! :P

Interesting aside, Rodders Journal just posted a "life Time " subscription for $200. Two hours later, You snooze you looze it was over. They only took 500 subscriptions for a cool $100,000.oo quick cash. The magazines must be in a bind.

You guys sure you aren't thinking about Hot Rod?

Nah man, this months cover features a totally groundbreaking and original resto-rod built by one man in his garage that will make a huge impact in the automotive community for years to come.

Gold Coast Publishing, dropped Rod and Custom from its line up as with it owning Street Rodder, and Car Craft, along with a few other automobile and pickup related publications it considered it a duplicate. I have a subscription to Car Craft, that just ended with the September issue, I am in the process of dropping all of my "duplicate" automotive magazines, the only one I really liked anyway was Rod and Custom, I'll pick up the occasional magazine as needed, but the publisher won't cut me off without a warning again.

When they dropped R&C they started sending me Street Rodder, which I don't like as much. I noticed in the last issue that there was now virtually NO pre-'49 content at all!
