tyrone Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 (edited) I started this build 3 days ago.. to kinda take the ease off, with this Nova outlaw build I have going on.. I modified the kit wheels to fit the front runner tires, lowered the front a little..I really wanted Calypso Green but this will have to do.. kit will be box stock may add some plug wires... tyrone Posted July 8, 2015 Author Posted July 8, 2015 (edited) And here's where I am now... I had to ditch the roll bar. factory seats wont fit.. I robbed the kirkey seat for my outlaw builds,, trying to decide light or dark grey on the seats... Edited July 8, 2015 by tyrone
rsxse240 Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 I have to ask. What is sleeper or street about mini tubs, cage, stripped interior, big engine and big exhaust? I was under the impression that a sleeper was an unassuming, stock appearing vehicle that was fairly quiet but would blow the doors off of most street driven cars. Your pro-stock or modified class mustang looks great! Sleeper it ain't. Lol
tyrone Posted July 8, 2015 Author Posted July 8, 2015 this car does not have mini tubbs, or a big engine, It's the kit 302 and the back seat is not in it,, I see these all the time on the street drive to the track..
slusher Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Great color and project Tyrone. i have been wanting one of these. What is the color and paint brand???
mustang1989 Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Nice!! I'm gonna have to rack up one of these kits.
superbike-shaun Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 T you just can't help ur self, you set out to just build some unassuming street car and it turns out Bitchen? ,nice job! Superbike-shaun
freakshow12 Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Awesome Tyrone. Reminds me of my mini rubbed gt500 powered notch
freakshow12 Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 I got my calypso green in a duplicate color spray can btw. Testors wet look on top of that
tyrone Posted July 11, 2015 Author Posted July 11, 2015 Thanks for the kind words fellas.. well I was making good progress I thought on this one.. I had cleared the body and I thought is was dry.. so I started taping off the body to paint the trim.. when I pulled the tape off the clear was not dry enough... smh.. So I had an extra body that I pulled out to yield a better result... thanks for looking and comments welcome.... here's the first attempt...lol.. here's attempt #2... still some clean up to do on it though...
Jmaracing Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 Looks great Tyrone. I seen one at the track 2 weeks ago at maple grove. It was black and very fast.. Great job!!
