935k3 Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 The first death in F1 since Ayrton Senna albeit 9 months after the crash http://www.foxsports.com/motor/story/f1-driver-jules-bianchi-passes-away-071715
Phildaupho Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 Sad news indeed. It was a very tragic accident which looked to be instantly fatal. Jules appeared destined to have a great F1 career ahead of him as so many other talented drivers before him who lost their lives too soon doing what they loved.
vintagercr Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 Another driver cut down in the prime of his life. Sad news indeed.
58 Impala Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 Very sad news. I watched that race, that was a terrible wreck.
Crazy Ed Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 Sad indeed, but if there's any upside to this it's these days it happens so rarely it's a Shock not, I wonder Who's Next.
afx Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 Frankly I was amazed Bianchi survived the crash. His father said just the other day Jules would not have wanted to live like this so maybe it is a blessing in disguise.
Gt fan Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 My wife and I met him in Monaco at last years race. Was super nice and talked to us for a bit. Very sad. He had a very promising future in F1.
