collinsos Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Hey guys like the title says im 26 and I need a hobby! I just started treatment for a complicated and hard to treat condition(Lyme), and while there isnt much choices out there at this stage for me to be doing, i'm excited to start building again. I just finished building the revell 2003 jeep rubicon and it turned out alright, ill try posting some pictures over under glass. Next project= AMT 67 Shelby, looking forward to this one. So when i was younger and doing these models i brush painted EVERYTHING and now after looking through the threads on this website i realize how much better and more detailed i can be with doing these, so for that im really looking forward to it. So it looks like im gonna have to set up a little spray paint station and get started! \for now i think ill be picking up acrylic rattle cans from maybe tamiya or testors in the colors i need as i need themDo you guys air brush everything? even the small detailing on the interiors?by the way i really like those little round paint stands with the wiring on top for holding parts up, are these store bought or you guys making on your own?\sorry for the long post and Id really like any tips and things while im looking to get going

I can think of few better ways to spend time then building models and in doing so, becoming a craftman! Again, welcome and sorry about Lyme. PS Forgot, here is what I use to store paints and brushes. I can give you details on where I bought em if interested. Edited July 22, 2015 by aurfalien
