cobraman Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Started this kit a couple days ago. It is a 1/24 curbside kit. Was looking for a simple build. I got the body in primer and painted the wheels. I love these wheels because the front chrome rim section is a seperate piece making painting simple. I am pretty sure body will be blue and the interior will be black.
superbike-shaun Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Ray u never cease to keep amazing me with the variety of models that you continue to keep buying.and building ,can I ask you where did u get this kit?
slusher Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Very sporty model Ray, i really like it. Now i am thinking about picking one up...
cobraman Posted August 15, 2015 Author Posted August 15, 2015 Thanks guys. I ordered this on ebay from Tokyo-Hobby. I think it was 28.00 with the shipping but took a long time to get.
Zarana-X Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 This is going to be cool. It's genius the way Aoshima designed their two-piece wheels. I wonder why no one else does it this way. I've ordered from Tokyo-Hobby as well. Their prices and shipping are pretty reasonable. I don't remember it taking too long, considering its postal service from the other side of the world.
cobraman Posted August 15, 2015 Author Posted August 15, 2015 I wish more wheels were done this way too. It is so simple to spray the centers.
superbike-shaun Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 I would say great priice and I think you REALLY like those wheels also!
rsxse240 Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 (edited) If you were to paint it red and use the wheels from the Aoshima Veilside s15 (daggers) and source the proper decals for the sides, you could effortlessly build Dom' Turretto's FD from The Fast and the Furious (the first one). cobraman Posted August 17, 2015 Author Posted August 17, 2015 Chassis is finished and I shot some color on the body. next will be decals and some clear.
