Greg Myers Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 (edited) Yeah, the last two are Model T's ( same group ) but remember you do get two frames and will have one left over along with that extra model T body from your AMT '25 T kit. Oh yeah, did I tell you? These are "old Timie" builds. Edited September 1, 2015 by Greg Myers
Greg Myers Posted September 1, 2015 Author Posted September 1, 2015 (edited) Right, befor we get too far, wrong engine (Ug, Chevy), automatic, alternator, and who in their right mind would go hot rodding with a two barrel carb? And that ribbed top hose, get one that fits. Edited September 1, 2015 by Greg Myers
Maindrian Pace Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Grille shell higher than the cowl is one of my pet peeves.
Jon Haigwood Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Good use for the body and stuff in my Lindberg 29 T Rod Kit. Already use the frame on another project
Jantrix Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 For near endless inspiration try this Google search.https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&site=imghp&tbm=isch&source=hp&biw=960&bih=517&q=model+a+on+a+32+frame&oq=model+a+on+a+32+frame&gs_l=img.3...1349.7312.0.7546.21.12.0.9.1.0.243.1565.0j7j2.9.0....0...1ac.1.64.img..13.8.1344.d4hhlUjG1Cg#hl=en&tbm=isch&q=model+a+roadster+on+a+32+frame
Sixties Sam Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Grille shell higher than the cowl is one of my pet peeves.Mine too! It ruins the looks.
Roadrunner Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I must be really odd, I don't like any of them.
stavanzer Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 The very first one, (the De Luxe) is my favorite.Would be best with the hopped 4 Banger from the old AMT Model A/Ala Kart,You guys know that you would not have to worry so much about that dreaded Grille/Cowl mis-match, if you'd stop sticking that Cursed '32 Grill on every danged Rod! I like the lines of the '32 grille myself, but for the love of the Great Gazoo, please stop using them on EVERYTHING. Alan
Greg Myers Posted September 10, 2015 Author Posted September 10, 2015 Yeah. There's so much more out there
Greg Myers Posted September 10, 2015 Author Posted September 10, 2015 and not too worry, some are available in model kits.
stavanzer Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Yeah, I need to get the Resin Re-pop of that AMT '32 Four Headlight Grille.I really like that last pic of the Black/Yellow P/up with the Merc Grille. That is one sharp little ride.
Dennis Lacy Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Right, befor we get too far, wrong engine (Ug, Chevy), automatic, alternator, and who in their right mind would go hot rodding with a two barrel carb? And that ribbed top hose, get one that fits. What I don't like more than any of that is the modern radial tires. They destroy the look of cars built to, otherwise, look vintage. Especially the weathered/patina look this one has. The Chevy engine wouldn't be so bad if it had more vintage equipment on it like a row of 2 barrel carbs, earlier finned valve covers and a generator.
