High octane Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Lookin' good Ken, and lookin' forward to seein' the end result. I just sold one of those kits as I'm "thinnin' the herd."
10thumbs Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 That's looking really nice, I like the motor color! Cool model.
Helper Monkey Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 I am working on the same one right now. I can not wait to see what you do to yours.
BIGTRUCK Posted September 20, 2015 Author Posted September 20, 2015 1 more light primer and ready for paint, even interior is almost ready
72 Charger Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Looks nice with the Chevy grill . Will it be yellow like the motor?
BIGTRUCK Posted September 24, 2015 Author Posted September 24, 2015 (edited) Chassis is done. AND for the first time in my painting anything black , I dont have to sand any blems and reshoot. Its painted, cured, shot 3 coats of clear and thats upto this point. While this dries until I have to polish I have to get the P/E door handles and window crank handles and other goodies installed for interior. Edited September 24, 2015 by BIGTRUCK
BIGTRUCK Posted September 25, 2015 Author Posted September 25, 2015 Thanks Dave, its about half way done
misterNNL Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 This will look great in black. We don't many custom Mercs in that color. With a visor and some tinted Windows this would take on a really sinister look. Thanks for sharing.
BIGTRUCK Posted September 27, 2015 Author Posted September 27, 2015 This is last workbench update, next one will be under glass..hopefully..I can see little dust starting to show already , glad its dry , its like a magnet for dust
