KJ790 Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 I made these for a custom one-off project that I am working on, but some people that have seen them have shown interest in my casting the rims. If I were to cast these rims and tires, would there be any interest?
Jim B Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 I guess the question is: what can they be used for? Are they light truck wheels & tires? Can they be used on Class 8 trucks for car haulers?
KJ790 Posted September 18, 2015 Author Posted September 18, 2015 These are common on light duty trucks. These are a common size for small tow trucks, roll-backs, box vans, ambulances, and large dually pickup trucks.
Petetrucker07 Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 I've seen them on a fuel trucks, car haulers and a company out here, Wildwood Express, uses them on their trucks and curtain trailers that are extra tall. I'd be interested in a full set or 2.
shelbrn90 Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Wheels & Tires? I would be in on 2 sets for sure!! I'll be watching!!!
66belair Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 They would be great for trucks like Ford F450-F550 and Chevy heavy duty 4500 series. I would be interested in a couple of sets if they had tires too.
gatorincebu Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Kurt, i would go for at least three to four sets. Please let me know if you are going to cast them!! Be Well Gator
Sergey Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 I would buy one set (6 wheels) too. Where can we see unpainted discs?
shelbrn90 Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Any update on the availability of these rims and tires. I would be in for 3 sets. Thank you!!
KJ790 Posted January 7, 2016 Author Posted January 7, 2016 Sorry for the slow response guys. The wheels pictured were made for a 1-off build that I am working on for a customer. I had another set of masters made, but I was not happy with how they came out, so I need to get another set of masters made. I have recently been bombarded with part orders for my existing parts, so for the time being these wheels unfortunately have landed on the back burner until I can get caught up with existing orders.
Petetrucker07 Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 I'm guessin the build off has caused some of the ordering surge. I have recently been bombarded with part orders for my existing parts, so for the time being these wheels unfortunately have landed on the back burner until I can get caught up with existing orders.
