Harry Joy Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 What is a good source, single shop preferably, for the AMT aftermarket tires? I see that AMT has a few sets, some others pop up on Amazon. But I don't see them at other online model retailers (the ones I know). I'm looking for the redlines, white walls, Goodyear stock tires, and other non-racing tires. Are AMT and Amazon my only options?
Rob Hall Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 I've been buying the sets from Model Roundup. eBay is a good option also.
Brett Barrow Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 We carry them. http://www.megahobby.com/search.aspx?find=amt+parts+pack&log=false&manufacturer=36
1930fordpickup Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Hobby Lobby has them from time to time.

Mark Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Hobby Lobby only carries the racing slicks, and the blue line racing slicks.... JeffI've got a couple of the Firestone Deluxe Champion tire packs, and one Polyglas GT pack from HL. The ones I have are pretty much the only times I saw them there, though.
Roncla Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 I've been getting them off Tower Hobbies http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0095p?FVPROFIL=W&FVSEARCH=AMT+TIRES
Harry Joy Posted October 21, 2015 Author Posted October 21, 2015 I ended up dropped a hundred bucks at MegaHobbies, on wheels and kit. They should be in my hands soon! I'd never heard of the outfit, but he had what I wanted!

I'd never heard of the outfit, but he had what I wanted!I see that, thanks! Should have them today. I'm not really on here as part of my job, I just come here as a hobbyist, but I'm glad to help out when I can!
Harry Joy Posted October 22, 2015 Author Posted October 22, 2015 (edited) Very thankful for the help, because I'd never heard of the shop before! I almost picked up another kit but passed on it. But I ended up grabbing it after seeing a re-run on Velocity last night that featured a similar make. Just had to have it!And the first order did in fact show up today. I like that ya'll give me control over shipping. Over the years, I've come to distrust EVERYone but the USPS when it comes to boxed orders. Edited October 22, 2015 by Harry Joy
