wayne swayze Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 I've gotten back at my "lakes modified" finally! Painting is done but needs polishing. Upholstery ready to go in and then final assembly.....hooray!
wayne swayze Posted October 21, 2015 Author Posted October 21, 2015 Thank you guys...greatly appreciated! I cleared the bench and plan on getting this together soon.
wayne swayze Posted November 4, 2015 Author Posted November 4, 2015 I have the carpeting in (charcoal), and you can see the red and light grey upholstery for the side panels. I also installed the headlight lenses into the pots from the ZZ Top '34. My next job is to make the radius rods for the front and rear axles. Still have a list of things left to do, but I'm making progress.

wayne swayze Posted November 4, 2015 Author Posted November 4, 2015 Thanks! The build thread is "on the workbench" from 2014....around June or July IIRC. THANKS TOM!

RAT-T Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 WAYNE, DO YOU HAVE ANY EARLY PICS OF THE FRAME & SUSPENSION BEING BUILT?
wayne swayze Posted November 4, 2015 Author Posted November 4, 2015 Yes I do Tom, however they're on my 2 cameras, and I still haven't figured out how to transfer them to my tablet.
wayne swayze Posted November 21, 2015 Author Posted November 21, 2015 Finally got the upholstery installed. Now on to making the radius rods .
wayne swayze Posted December 4, 2015 Author Posted December 4, 2015 I spent a couple of hours making up the front radius rods and have them installed. So far, so good! No photos today.
wayne swayze Posted December 8, 2015 Author Posted December 8, 2015 Front radius bars are attached. I'm very happy with the stance. Today's project is to install the fear radius bars. Feels good to be making progress. (Ran into a couple of set backs recently with assembly, but I'll keep at it.)
bobthehobbyguy Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Cool. Glad to see this back on the bench.
