mrindy77 Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Box stock build of the Vending Machine Show Rod. The current version does not have the Coca Cola decals and with the help of fellow member, John White, who sent me set of the original decals so I could scan them and create the original artwork to be printed on my ALPS. It is a fragile kit but builds into a very nice replica of the iconic show rod that I was fortunate to see when I was about 8 years old.
Modelbuilder Mark Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Very cool. I have a fond spot for show rods, they were such great kits to build as a kid.
Ridge Rider Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Very nice. The decals look great. Thanks for sharing.
Craig Irwin Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 A friend of mine worked for Steve Tansey (Spelling?) and helped build the 1:1. Nice build!
Plastheniker Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Not really my favourite kind of 1:1 vehicles but beautiful execution and perfect photography!
