This is my second build from the excellent Revell kit, and is long overdue.  The kit fender skirts have been used, shortened in height and with three slots added for some side trim spears.  Paint is my usual Tamiya rattlecan, this time using Coral Blue.  Custom Mercs are frequently covered in dark metallic paint, so I thought I would try something different this time.  Of course, a very famous custom was painted in a pastel shade, so not exactly new ground ;).

Rolling chassis has been completed, the engine received plug wires and the chassis was built out of box because the kit has a nice ride height as it comes.  Since they are mostly hidden by the skirts, I'm using parts box rear tyres which will have handpainted whitewalls similar to the photo below.  The two kit wheels/tyres will find their way onto the front of another build.

The finished interior has been joined with the chassis.  Colours are Tamiya Racing White with Titanium Gold accents.  I've just treated the windows to some BMF, so hopefully not long to go now!

Interior and engine compartment looks awesome.  Did you brush or spray the interior accent colors???

Cheers Carl - the accent gold was brushed using bottle enamel.
