Bitchn'Rides '50 Phantom Fleetside

Recommended Posts

This model got built for a number of reasons. First I actually owned a 1955 1st Series Chevy Pick-up. Second "Bitchin' Rides" is one of my favorite programs on the Velocity Network and third I loved the challenge of pulling this off.

I started with the AMT 1950 Chevy Pickup kit, Hendrix Resin 1950 Chevy Panel Delivery, LS3 engine/transmission came from the Revell 2013 Camaro ZL1 kit and  Wheels/Tires from the Revell "Good Guys" '30 Ford Woody Street Rod kit.

Scratchbuilt the Magnuson supercharger. Modified the 50 Chevy truck chassis to make it look like the Morrison chassis Kindigit Design used. Also scratch built the seats and interior pieces.

Paint is ScaleFinishes Audi Salsa Red and Chrysler Cool White.

A special thanks goes out to Jameston of ScaleFinishes and Baylee Kindig @ Kindigit Design for their assistance.
