Jeremy Jon Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 It's my photo that I took at our show. This particular model shows the kit as it will be available for kids to build at the auto shows. It will reportedly be available for public consumption in March with a pair of side mirrors. There's engraved detail in the headlight bezel area under the headlight covers (where Mustang/Raptor etc. have none). Engraved detail on the interior is more complete than the Mustang/Raptor etc. This kit sort of bridges the gap between Revell's build & play and their regular snap kits. While it's troubling to see their focus on modern cars go away from detailed kits (there is absolutely no guarantee that they'll do a more detailed 2015-up Mustang at this point, for instance. In fact Maisto's diecast is far more detailed, but suffers the typical diecast issues), this may be the only way we'll see the GT in plastic at all. I can have lots of fun w/the kit if it looks right and subject matter is enticing. I'm hoping the windshield fits better than this sample. Ah ok Bob, thanks for taking the pic! I agree, disappointing with both the 2015 Mustang, and this GT, to not have full detail, but we'll have to make the best of it
KWT Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 (edited) Getting closer. I really want a 1970 Chevy pickup that I don't have to pay over a hundred for. I hear ya... I'd love a 69-ish stepside and/or shortbed, a 81-ish silverado 2wd shortbed, and a 95.. I'd be in for 4 of each... a 96 ext cad s10 and a 2001 2dr/2wd blazer would be 4 more. (yeah, that's all the trucks I've owned over the years, along with a78 nova, 85 cutlass and a 2010 & 15 impala that i'd love to build too. Alas, I don't see me ever getting to build any of them ) Edited December 13, 2015 by KWT add to

Casey Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Excited for the Nickey Camaro, from the flyer pic the grille looks pretty good to me.Can't say what's different other than the obvious, but here's the instruction sheet to peruse: http://manuals.hobbico.com/rmx/85-4377.pdf
1972coronet Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Can't say what's different other than the obvious, but here's the instruction sheet to peruse: http://manuals.hobbico.com/rmx/85-4377.pdf Thanks for the link , Casey . Looks like a winner ! The dual carb intake , headers , traction bars , etc. , etc. , are nice additions . My only prima fascie "complaint" is that the dreaded A.I.R. Pump looks as though it's still on the accessories' drive . Okay for an L72 transplant , but a no go for a modified 427 .
gbdolfans Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Casey,Thank you for the link also. Now I am going to have to get one.Or 2,or3...

mikemodeler Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 I'll be picking up a Nickey kit to replicate a friend's original low mile '67 Nickey, the car is unbelievable !
