1/48 scale.  If you have a Hobby Lobby nearby, keep an eye out. A couple of years ago, the original Revell Stearman kit (kit #85-5264) was in their Clearance section for about $10.

At one point in time, I thought of buying that kit too, for a father-son project, but we built an ex-Monogram Peterbilt snap kit instead.

Been wanting that kit for awhile, but I have nowhere to put my aircraft kits.

That's one of the biggest problems I have with most non automotive kits. Where do you put them when they are done, and you have a limited amount of shelf space to display them? That least with most model cars, when your done building them, they still fit back in the box they came in.
