vintagercr Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Joel, I think it turned out great! You might want to turn the tree around. Wind might want to spread the branches apart as you drive down the highway.
Bill J Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 I really like the 56 wagon with Christmas tree, very well thought out and executed.
Helix Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Nicely done Joel...well, it's that time of year again, good to see you getting in the Christmas Spirit
Sixties Sam Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Very good execution of a creative idea! The snow looks good. I like the snow on the windshield showing the wiper paths - nice touch! Good looking model, nice interior. Great work all around!Sam
DumpyDan Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Steve that's a Canadian tree your talking about, the ones from down south are tuffer
unclescott58 Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 I hate snow! But, I love your model. Very nice.
spencer1984 Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 I think you've done some very nice work here; it's a great looking scene, and I can't think of anything to add that hasn't already been said. Great job!
IceMan Collections Posted November 26, 2015 Author Posted November 26, 2015 Joel, here's something funny. A photo of my wife's Christmas Village. There's a ceramic 55-56 Ford wagon with a Christmas tree on the roof! How 'bout that?! A popular theme this time of year. Thank you all very much for your comments. It means a lot to me to see so many responses. I truly appreciate it.!
XJ6 Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 (edited) Poking around and came across yours and ***WOW*** That is Really Nice ?Wonderful job Iceman ? Edited November 26, 2015 by XJ6
Atmobil Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Great idea and a great execution of it I really like the way you captured this "dream scene". I call it a dream because I have never seen a car with snow like that on in the winter. Cars around here usually get all brown/grey and wet looking with roadsalt turning all the winterroads in to a dirty slush. Having said that, sometimes we do get proper winterroads around here aswell. This is a picture of my old 74 Mercedes 240D in December 2007, an early morning before on small rural roads that are not salted.
IceMan Collections Posted November 26, 2015 Author Posted November 26, 2015 Thank Don and Gaute. Gaute - I tried to get a bit of brown, dirty sludge right behind the wheel wells. I was afraid of messing it up so it was definitely not as strong or "dirty" as it could have been. Maybe I can go back and add some more. Thanks for the picture. I know what you mean about all the salt. Starts eating away at the paint too.
kilrathy10 Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 Now, that's a really good model.....Awesome work, Man....
