Interesting Pat!   I just was at the Heller website. I had looked earlier for the HY van and didn't realize there was a separate truck category.  So I found it.  The Renault 4 appears to be out of stock. The big Citroen isn't on the site, the one on the page is the 1/16 scale model.  Since I wanted both of those along with the available HY and Mehari, I will wait.  The site shows "free shipping" in my cart, but I hadn't entered my information and USA address yet.  Does anyone know if they are giving free shipping to USA?  If so, that will seal the deal and I'll order!

Also, anyone who has the Renault 4, it shows a couple of Light Commercial variations on box lid.  What are the three? Is one of those for the post office?  The photos are two small to see and there is no identifying text.

Free shipping is within France...

Also the DS19 is made by Ebbro - the makers of the 2CV Fourgonette, a completely different and separate 4L, 4 Fourgonnette, and 2CV "Slough" Pick-up...so you're in for a really long wait if you expect that to show up on Heller's website. :D  Please take the nearest detour to your favorite Japanese retailer, although be aware Japan is on vacation until Monday.

Oh and the Light Commercial version of Heller's 4L are a taxi, police car, and fire buggy.

Okay. I got excited when I saw the DS on the new kits page along with the Renault 4 and Mehari.  I actually put it in my cart before I noticed the large scale.  I will need the Ebbro kits too.  It's unfortunate that they are so costly.

And I'll be adding a postal vehicle to the Light Commercial versions...  I just found photos, both of the regular sedan and Fourgonnette.

IMHO I think you really get what you pay for with the DS19, it's a fantastic kit of a car that I doubt any of us expected to ever see get tooled up as a new kit.  The 2CV P/U is a nice kit, but Ebbro decided to make all of their own dirty bits and stop sourcing them out of Tamiya (like with the 2CV Fourgonnete), and in the process they made it a curbside...a choice that might have come down to $$$ as the hood is separate and it looks like it would have been tooled for an engine.  It is pretty neat in the terms that it's a much earlier 2CV in terms of production year with the large pre-1960 grill and "ripple" hood.  Still it's the most expensive curbside I think I own that wasn't a hard to find OOP kit.

And if you can find this decal sheet I bought in from Japan, you can so so many versions of Ebbro's R4 Fourgonette
