exesivefire Posted February 11, 2016 Author Posted February 11, 2016 So things are looking a lot less bare plastic around here now. Got the chassis painted, slight weathering started and you get a hint of what color might be on the body soon. body is getting close to paint too. I do need to test fit my interior parts before I get too much further though.
Belugawrx Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 Dude,.,.first paint from you and I gotta say...can I use that last pic as my desktop ?!?Cheers Andy
Speedfreak Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 That's gonna look awesome in that color Andy! Wow! Is it gonna be called the Khrusty Khuda? With livery? This has so much potenial it's mind boggling.

Kustom Rodder Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 What about anodizing the stacks and smoking the front rims with tamiya smoke just a thought.

Roadrunner Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 (edited) Nice project, ought to look really nice. Edited February 16, 2016 by Roadrunner
exesivefire Posted February 16, 2016 Author Posted February 16, 2016 So I can never leave well enough alone... And the stacks never really looked "just right" to me. But I knew I didn't want to just throw a standard scoop on. Tonight looking at my parts tree the idea hit me, I took one look at that shaker scoop and got to cutting. Still pretty roughed out, but I think the stacks are going back in the parts bin.
Speedfreak Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Andy, those stacks were killer, they gave the car incredible original character, be fearless!
Impalow Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 gah... buddy im torn on this one... I like the stacks, and I get where you are going with the scoop... yikes.. we only have a month.
exesivefire Posted February 16, 2016 Author Posted February 16, 2016 Sorry to disappoint, I'm just not feeling the stacks yet... I haven't given up on them but....
bobthehobbyguy Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 I vote for the stacks. I think they fit the character of the car.
exesivefire Posted February 16, 2016 Author Posted February 16, 2016 Stacks are probably dead...i don't like them.
Jantrix Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Stacks are probably dead...i don't like them. I dig the shaker.
62pyro Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 I think whichever way you go with it will look good.Always nice to see your twisted mind at work.
exesivefire Posted February 18, 2016 Author Posted February 18, 2016 So paint happened today.. Also still can't decide on the scoop or the stacks. I'm going to keep playing with the scoop.
DeeCee Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 I think the stacks are wild, i love em'.... great looking build mate.
Impalow Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Looks even better in the big photos...this thing is fun.
