Cobra for Russian market

Never before seen Cobra kit by me anyway. Found it on ebay a few weeks ago. Although it shows a Super Snake on the box the kit is just the same Academy kit available here. I figured it would be but it is still nice to have and I am glad I bought it. The only real difference in in the way it was packaged.

Nice to have another Cobra no matter what language the instructions are in. Certainly a conversation piece!

Ya, I didn't really think it would but it sure would have been nice. This box is huge. The seller packed it very well and no damage was noted.

Is the kit right-hand drive as it shows on the box art? Never seen a RH drive Cobra...except as a kit car.

That's way cool. I'm always interested in the different ways that kits are marketed. You did good. I'd consider it a rather rare kit. Thanks Cobraman for sharing this one.    Jeff

Odd that the Russian Academy kit is marked as 1/24 since the Sunny and Academy/Minicraft versions are both 1/25.

Yes. the kit is exactly like any other Cobra by them. No Super Snake hood, not a right hand drive and not 1/24 as box states but rather the 1/25 scale. Still I am happy to have this one in my collection.
