vettecote Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 (edited) I'm not able to start right away, but here's my entry! Don't know of any colors yet... With this wrecker set up. Edited January 3, 2016 by vettecote
Petetrucker07 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 This is gonna be interesting Joe. Lookin forward to this bash up.
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Looks like a great project! I almost built a wrecker too, but decided to go another route. I'm looking forward to seeing this one!
Superpeterbilt Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Great project. Just a tip, this wrecker body is too wide for these kits. Its usually about .250 too wide. This can be fixed by narrowing the bed floor. Good luck with your build.
gatorincebu Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Joe, That is a good combination IMHO. Looking forward to your build thread . Be Well Gator
vettecote Posted January 3, 2016 Author Posted January 3, 2016 Thanks guys. Thanks for the tip Terry, I figured there would be some cutting going on! LOL
rctruk Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Cool....another tow truck. That combo will work nice together
Olskoolrodder Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 That will be a sweet conversion,I can't wait to see it!
Travis T Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Sweet, the Diamond Reo seems to have more of a work truck feel that will suit a wrecker body very well.
bandit1 Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 cool build so far... fyi you can send me the rest of the pete wrecker whatever you don't use?
vettecote Posted January 11, 2016 Author Posted January 11, 2016 (edited) Started this tonight. Camera is broken so no pictures. Hope to have pic's tomorrow. Got the chassis together. Looks like I will have to stretch it a little. Don't know about the width yet...Joe Edited January 11, 2016 by vettecote
