curt raitz Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Just finished the Konstant Hot Spl, this is a vacuum form conversion of the old AMT Watson Roadster kit A dentist friend of mine sent me a bunch of Watson Roadster kits and a few vacuum form bodies to build This is the 3rd one I've completed so far
Bernard Kron Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Spectacular.... Or is it the undeniable romance of these cars? Either way... Spectacular build. Love the number 14. Is that a decal set or....
Brendan Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Nicely done roadster. Wish they would do some more of these older style Indy cars.
ismaelg Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Beautiful! I love the engine, especially the stacks. Great job!
Raul_Perez Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Hey Curt...where did those sweet looking velocity stacks come from? I'm sure that my friend Bernard would like to get his hands on a set of them for his salt flat car! I don't know how you get enough gumption to build a vacuform kit. You know it's all I can do to even tackle a really well done resin model! Good job, my old friend!!

Slim Louis Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 Beautiful car, Curt, I love it! I have a real passion for the sixties Indy cars, saw them race many times in Milwaukee. Have three of these Watson kits on my shelf, too!
