Reeves Racing Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 (edited) Heller kit pretty much OOB Duplicolor paint Parts box decals Wired the engine Used "extra" kit parts on the engine Major flaw with the kit is the bulkhead lacks about 3/16" from touching the body top. I didn't realize this until I had put too much of the kit together and didn't want to take it back apart to fix it. The rear body piece doesn't fit without a lot of work. The engine is far from accurate for any of the Porsche 907 908 series. Heller left it that way to use in other kits is what I suspect. Major win with the kit is the fit of all the clear parts. Outstanding fit. The wheels and tires. No mold lines on the body and just few pin marks. Edited January 4, 2016 by Reeves Racing
Crazy Ed Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 Nice Job Mitch. Interesting I don't recall anyone mentioning the Bulkhead problem in past builds. Thanks for pointing it out!
