Thanks guys!!

Yes, lots of sanding to get things the way I wanted to Pat. All part of the experience

Just a quick update. I have managed to get the cab and the hood painted and mocked up. I'll be polishing out the paint and clear coating it soon so it will shine like a rig just off the assembly line.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the nice comments guys.

I like to use Tamiya spray cans for large bodies like this Brian. The red I used is TS-85 Bright Mica Red.

I've been working away at the interior and started doing some decal work on the body. Lots to do yet but still rolling along.

I have to repair the decal beside the grill. Dang thing ripped on me.

The interior is far from finished but it's coming along.

Thanks for looking!

     Rob,

Too bad a bout the tear in the decal, but not the end of the world ! Your interior looks great ! What material did you use for the floor mat ?

Thanks everyone for your nice comments.

Gator, the floor material is a thin sheet of rubber like foam I found at the dollar store. I thought I'd give it a try to see how it looks. I still need to glue it down.

Looking at the photos of the dash board I am really not happy with the results. I struggled with the paint I used (Krylon), when I put the second coat on the dash the paint wrinkled on me. I can't understand why the same paint would cause that, especially after letting the first coat dry for a week.

I'm going to strip it down and try again. I think I can do better.

I guess I went a little overboard on using decal set on the DR decals. The Texaco decals for the doors were a little thick so I was able to get it to sit nicely with the decal set. The DR decals were a little thinner so I probably should have gone without decal set. The lessons we learn.

Brian, I may take you up on the offer. I just don't want you to have to pay for mailing. I'll send you a PM.

Thanks again everyone. This build has been so much fun I think I am hooked on trucks now.

Hi there guys

Just thought I should check in and say hi. Been on the road for work quite a bit the last few weeks and have not had much bench time. I did get a little done, replaced the DR decals on the hood (thanks very much Brian!) and repainted the dashboard. I will get some pics posted soon.

I can't believe we are already at the end of May!

Not a lot done this month, more or less just fixing my own mistakes.

Thanks again Brian for the Diamond Reo decals. They do look very nice. I hope I can return the favour one day.
