New here and pretty new to modeling. My name is Matt and I live just north of Boston. Very happy I found this forum, I was on another one and I swear tumble weeds were passing across the screen. I use to model as a kid but never seriously, this past year I went all in on the hobby, and I can say I'm officially addicted to styrene, in a good way. I'm on my 5th model now, the first 2 were just practice, which I royally screwed up, but I'm back on track. I have a '29 Ford Model A done, a Corvette ZR-1 that just needs the body glued on, and my current project is a Castrol Tom's Supra, with custom paint and maybe some decals. Pics below

Don't have an updated pic of this one yet

Hi Matt - good to hear you're hooked!

Not been on here long myself but I can already see plenty of talent, so you should find plenty of help and encouragement available. I started building a Toyota Tom's Supra as a street car recently too, but have only got as far as painting it then put it aside in favour of a couple other builds. Keep us posted on how you're getting on with yours.

GlennM that is an awesome color choice, can't wait to see where you go with it.

I'll probably stick with the kit wheels and try and make it more street than race. Got a stock Tamiya Supra kit too so will see if I can use the underpinnings and interior from that. Keep the posts coming on your Supra build - and enjoy it too!

Hi Matt. Welcome. I am south of Boston myself and I am pretty new here too. This is a Great place to share, learn and meet great people who have the same interests. I cannot say enough positive things about this Forum. My story on modeling is pretty much the same as yours and I am also very addicted to styrene and could not be happier. Again Matt welcome.   Jeff
