LazerBondUSA glue?

I've seen TV spots for this glue, which says it can adhere anything, is sandable and paintable, and uses a UV stylus to set it. ($19.99 but no Ginsu knives). Has anyone tried it?

It sounds like a competitor to Bondic, and if you're interested, there's a thread about it here...

I've seen these ads too & wondered about it.

If it actually works, it looks like it could be the answer for applications such as installing glass.

I've never tried Bondic either.

May have to give it a shot.

Looks to be exact same stuff as Bondic (looking at applicator, etc).

I haven't been overly impressed with Bondic's ability to hold plastic together.

Do you think it would make a good adhesive for holding clear "glass" windshields, etc. in place? (Steve, jumped on this cause when you said it, it sounded like something I might also like...)

I haven't tried it in clear plastic. Judging by the perfor

ance on regular plastic, if your window glass fit well, I think it would hold. If you had to clamp or tape your glass in and the joint would be under pressure, I don't know. Maybe, maybe not. It does help if you rough up the surface, but that might not be easy on clear parts. 

Bondic does work for quick filling of holes etc - just fill, light, repeat.

I never had any experience with ether but I seen those adds and looks like it would be good for when your modifying or repairing bodies,etc.

Surfaces to be bonded with Bondic should be rough. It doesn't stick well to glossy parts.

I'm more interested in trying it for quick casting of clear parts like tail lights, headlights, etc.
