Tom Geiger Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 It happens every four years so it's something special! Here's something related and cool from my stamp collection. This post card was mailed in 1908 which was also a Leap Year. It was mailed on February 28th, and has a receiving postmark on February 29th. (Mail got receiving postmarks back then). Pure coincidence, the card on the other side is a birthday card. I'll bet I'd never find another one like it!

CometMan Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 I had my taxes done today, just to play with Uncle Sam a bit!

Lunajammer Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Saturday, my GF and I celebrated leap year with a dinner of kangaroo and frog legs at Hell's Kitchen in Minneapolis. As dark humor, I asked for mine poached (HA!). The waitress either didn't get it, or refused to acknowledge the political incorrectness, just said, "I don't think we serve it like that but I can ask the kitchen." I kill me.
Roger U Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 At the company where I used to work a girl in our department was born on February 29 and her brother was born 4 years later on February 29. Quite a coincidence.

Do you recommend it? And please explain your joke. Because I don't get it?
