gator52 Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Chuck's MSP Caprice reminded me that I hadn't posted any pictures yet of the same kit that I finished a couple of months back. Decals from Pursuit Plastics, supplemented by a couple of custom decals. Except for the antenna, it's OOB. Thanks for looking Jonah
Agent G Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 I like it! Good job. That's from the period when Dallas used the "less is best" theory of graphics. All the good folks kept thinking they were taxi cabs..........................G
av405 Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 It's funny, I have this same exact project in mind. If memory serves me correctly, the 1991 Caprices were actually the first to receive the updated blue stripe graphics. However, there is a picture out there showing a 1991 with the old school graphics and I prefer the simplicity of these.
GeeBee Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Superb build, I still have a few of these to build ....

This website has an overview of DPD cars, and this model is based off one of the photos. I've got the kit & decals to do the blue stripe scheme on a '91 as a companion to this build. http://jalopnik.com/5815263/85-years-of-dallas-police-squad-cars/Thanks for the comments!Jonah
