Chuck's MSP Caprice reminded me that I hadn't posted any pictures yet of the same kit that I finished a couple of months back.  Decals from Pursuit Plastics, supplemented by a couple of custom decals.  Except for the antenna, it's OOB.

That's from the period when Dallas used the "less is best" theory of graphics. 

All the good folks kept thinking they were taxi cabs..........................

It's funny, I have this same exact project in mind. If memory serves me correctly, the 1991 Caprices were actually the first to receive the updated blue stripe graphics. However, there is a picture out there showing a 1991 with the old school graphics and I prefer the simplicity of these.

Yes, from what I've pieced together the transition was while 1991s were being integrated into the fleet.  This website has an overview of DPD cars, and this model is based off one of the photos.  I've got the kit & decals to do the blue stripe scheme on a '91 as a companion to this build.
