stitchdup Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 I built this last year for a build off on jerryscherrys forum. It's the lindberg kit with one or two changes. The interior is from a camero, engine from a mpc doh charger and the rest is from the floor/leftovers. Apologies for the link, my pics are too bighttp://s1368.photobucket.com/user/stitchdup/library/40 ford?sort=3&page=1
DumpyDan Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Nice work, great looking chop and channel. impressive
slusher Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Very nice..Here you go paste the image code but don't high light
Spex84 Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Wild! I've seen this one before somewhere, still love it...reminds me of the builds from the old model car mags of the 60s. When I read "camaro interior" I thought there was no way such a thing could look right in a 60s-style custom '40 ford...but I was wrong! Those seats and door panels look great. Nice paint too
Modlbldr Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Very nice looking custom. I enjoyed scrolling through the pics to see how you made this. Nicely done. Great color choice too. I am working on a couple of 40's right now myself. One has a very similar chop.Later-
stitchdup Posted March 15, 2016 Author Posted March 15, 2016 Cheers mate, I was worried about chopping it but it went better than I expected

Lovefordgalaxie Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 WOW!! That is proof that one can polish a turd. This kit is terrible. I got one, and ended using the chrome to restore and old build of the AMT kit, and tossed the rest on the bin.
stitchdup Posted March 18, 2016 Author Posted March 18, 2016 Thanks mate, I found it pretty forgiving when I chopped it, the thick plastic maybe worked in my favor in that respect, but I didn't use too much of the kit in the end. just the body/chrome pieces and chassis.
