iamsuperdan Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 (edited) This one's been done a while. Was a quick build of a snap kit, mainly as a paint experiment. I used automotive paint on this, just to see how it would turn out. I finished the two-tone, was pretty happy with it, then managed to drop something on the driver's door, and chipped the paint. So I masked, repainted, and now it has a slightly mismatched door, just like most real Tahoes! I also flocked the interior, but didn't get any pics of that. A little more time and I could fix this up. I'll probably use this as my experiment vehicle. Next test...BMF the wheel arches. Edited March 15, 2016 by iamsuperdan
Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Looks good! I really like this kit. Easy to build and very versitile.
kilrathy10 Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 Looks pretty decent, actually.....Most of these I see, these days, look pretty much just like this one.....As you pointed out, before.....Looks like most Tahoes.....Nice job....
olschoolkid Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Nice build. My mom has a 1994 Blazer which is the last year of the full size Blazers. This looks like a good kit to convert into a Blazer build.
Olskoolrodder Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Nicely done! It look slike a real (1:1) one. I'm working on 1 of those myself currently (well..."working on" might be a stretch,LOL,it's on the side right now,but I digress...I have model building adhd )
