My 1:1 '76 Cobra II has 4 bolt (there for 4 slot) Western Alum Mags. Any after market 1/25 renditions of this wheel made? Or am I looking for a custom builder? Thanks Timok1

You might look at Revell's Datsun 240Z or their Datsun 510. They are both 4 lug type wheels. The 510 has chrome American style 4 spokes.

Not really sure of which ones you mean but if you mean the factory stock 5 slot wheels like on the S&H Torino but with 4 lugs, the MPC Pinto wagon should have a set when it's reissued. IIRC.

A picture of the ones you want [or link to a pic] would help a lot.

CanCon; No mine has aftermarket Western Wheels sold by Western Auto Stores. It has 5" wide rims in the rear and 3.5 wide in the front. I'll have to take a pic, now where did I put that camera .

As I see it, you've only got a few choices, and each will require a little work on your part if accuracy is your goal.

1) The MPC Pinto kit should have the wheels you want. They'll be plated, but all four will share the same offset, so you'll need to modify the rears to match the wider wheels on your 1:1 car.  These guys can give you some input on how to do that.

2) Kris Morgan (see post above) is a highly reputable resin caster.  He offers a set of resin 5-slots in big and little.  http://www.madmodeling.com/store/ccp0-prodshow/fenton+wheels.html   You'll need to do some sanding and gluing to change the 5-lug setup to 4, and you'll need to use Alclad or Spaz-Stix to get the right finish.

3) Scenes Unlimited is run by another reputable resin caster. He offers the MPC 4-lug 5-slots in plain resin, http://www.scenesunltd.com/collections/wheels/products/ansen-sprint-4-lug-m27   but you'll need to widen the rears and use Alclad or Spaz for the correct finish.

I have most of the parts to start the build. Correct front and rear spoiler from the Autoscape Prostreet  Mustang. Side window louvers from junkyard King Cobra of unknown origin and correct interior and chassis from 8 ball Mustang II. Later Timok1

Yes, those are the style wheels that should be in the Pinto wagon when it's reissued. Can't say about the width though.

Well I've decided to magically change Rockinghorse to five bolt 15" wheels. That's been on my list for it any way.  9" Lincoln  Versilles  rear end with disk brakes. 11" front rotor kit with (gag -gasp) Chebby calipers. So presto changeo  poof  it's converted. Any one have the location of the illusive cubic yard o cash?

And the reason for the name Rockinghorse           http://www.mynetimages.com/viewimage/8f9f20bc67

Open MCM forum, then open a separate tab (window) with your picture visible.  Then perform the right click procedure described above.
