bonehead23 Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 It is mostly done now, only a couple tiny paint details left. This was built in the 70's, poorly, and resurrected using a donor body and lots of "diving equipment" from the parts box. Krylon Bronze body, Testor's root beer top.
Againmikewins Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Nice to see the '70 Pontiac decals and spare parts making an appearance! Cool looking car!

Not many people even know about that Poncho...mine came complete with boat and trailer along with those scuba goodies...but the tanks in the back of the Nomad came from the Blue Bandito!!! LOL

LOLoh don't think for a second that I knew that prior to purchasing the re-pop of the MPC '70 Pontiac. Lol.
bonehead23 Posted March 24, 2016 Author Posted March 24, 2016 Looks good, any pictures under the car? Nice to see the '70 Pontiac decals and spare parts making an appearance! Cool looking car!
Lunajammer Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 I think there's more this than meets the eye. The body splicing looks pretty seamless. Chassis is good too. Nice work.
bbowser Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Cool concept, great execution! Don't try any U-turns however
DumpyDan Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Thanks for the look. That is a good looking chassis, well done!
unclescott58 Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Interesting. Not my style, but I can appreciate it. Very nice job of building it.
Mike 1017 Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Very KOOL . Is that the MPC Bonneville hauling the boat?
bonehead23 Posted April 1, 2016 Author Posted April 1, 2016 Very KOOL . Is that the MPC Bonneville hauling the boat? It was a "Model King" reissue, and is being again released by Round 2 but only the car, no boat and trailer included like mine was.
