Quick GMC
So I have this kit from C1 Models, the 67 Camaro widebody. I am trying to decide what to do with it. I was thinking of using the Corvette C5R kit for the chssis/suspension stuff, but I can't decide on an engine. I was thinking either the Grand Sport engine, or the C5R engine. Modern or old school? I dunno.
Ace-Garageguy
I used a slightly stretched C5R frame under a radically chopped kinda pro-touring '70 Chevelle back in 2012, with a front-blown big block Chebby.
espo
What about the Mercury Marine engine built for Chevrolet to use in the Corvette in the '90's ? The engine had duel overhead cams and looks very exotic. If you're looking for something a little more current then maybe a tricked out LS7 engine. I really like the look of this body, but the body lines from the top of the front and rear wheel openings are not something that I personally like but I guess it goes with the general overall look. DrKerry
Nice resin though, C1 makes some awesome products!!!!!!
Mr. Metallic
What about the "crossover" FI unit from the Revell 67 Corvette from a few years ago. It looks like the unit from the Accurate Miniatures 63 Grand Sport racers, but I believe it's a modern FI version.
