Big fan here. Loving the fact that they just swept the dreaded Twins (in Minneapolis!) three games to none. So far so good... 7 and 2 is a nice start. Fingers crossed... B)

Yeah, it's not the same Sox of Konerko, Pierzyinski, Buehrle, etc. that won the WS in 2005. But still... gotta keep hope alive! :D

I really liked the Sox during Ozzie Guillens watch. When Ozzie was in Chicago his wife said ''Minnesota is coming to town'' Ozzie said ''good, are you dating somebody from there?' Who cares''. His sons were the talk of sports radio almost daily. I didnt care for the Jim Thome trade Sox to Twins. I met Minnie Minoso numerous times in Elmhurst .So you can say I like the Sox...and I also like everyone that plays the Cubs:lol:..

Nothing against the Sox, I have always loved the Cubs since i was a kid and i will always be a Cub fan. I have been to Sox games with my brother but always more Cub Games. I want the Sox to win and represent also...

Sorry, Harry, we're not allowed to like Chicago teams here! (My area, not the forum!):P But, if you say you root against that nasty blue & yellow school with the big "M" that is near here that would even it up!:lol:

The hockey and basketball rivalry was pretty good back when. Then the players you hated in Detroit became loved in Chicago [ Rodman-basketball and Probert-hockey ]

When AJ was the Twins catcher, we hated him.

When he came to the Sox, we loved him! :D

My wife being from Missouri is a die hard Cardinals fan. See jokes around with me when they beat the Cubs but i give her respect when the Cubs win and say nothing. I don't hate any team i just like sports..

I also prefer the Sox to the Cubs, my Wife loves the Cubs. One day in 2007 I stopped to buy gas and milk while wearing my 2005 World Series Champion t shirt and had some rando guy say: "White Sox suck". I looked down at my shirt, and laughed.

I'm more of a hockey fan anyway, played it when I was younger. Ice hockey, ball hockey (street).

GO HAWKS!!!
