This kit was a pleasure to build although I tried a new primer on it that didn't work as well on the model as it did on the spoon. I used duplicolors white primer and the testers (or Model Master) grabber blue had some issues but it mostly came correct after wet sanding and shooting it again. all stock and mostly out of the box with the addition of plug wires. My brother had a truck just like this when I was younger although his may have had a V-8, I don't remember. His truck came from the glass place next to my Dads shop and I'm sure Dad repainted it for him so the color may not be accurate to the year but is accurate to my brothers truck. Of course when you grow up in a body shop any color is accurate to any year or model.

Looks sweet!!!...Awesome job removing the chrome side trim...

You caught that, I forgot to mention it. The side bumps have trim running down the center on the kit but most of these trucks that I'm familiar with started out as base trim and were used as work trucks so they didn't have it.

Very nice Mark, I built the same kit a few months back and I really enjoyed it, I had some fit issues with the windshield with mine though.
