oldcarfan Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 I like step side trucks and wanted to build a Chevy to go with my Fords. unfortunately they have been out of production for a while so prices are getting high. I came across a box in storage that had parts of several Monogram GM and Chevy truck kits including a step side bed that is I don't know how old. I combined them and came out with a whole Chevy except for the engine and the mirrors. I'm gonna call it done for now!
Intmd8r Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 I like it. I was planning a similar kit bash build like this. Well done-you would never know that the parts weren't from the same kit.
mikemodeler Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 nice and clean! Looks great, way to use the parts box!
kilrathy10 Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 Looks like you did a great job, here with those scrap parts.....Good looking paint job....

JTalmage Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 Looks good! I'd love to build a replica of the truck from the movie The Driver. Yours is VERY close!
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 Very nice build!! I've always liked a stepside Chevrolet.
