I'm just wondering what builders use to make generator/alternator brackets and how they make the brackets.

I use spare hinges that I don`t use for the hoods cut out the spring part out attach to motor there you go

I agree with Steve... sheet and or strip styrene.

But step #1 is always a google image search so I have a good reference photo to use.

Detail Master has some PE brackets but they have a $20 minimum order.  Can't find any on ebay.  I pounded out some thin solder today and will try that on the Hemi going into a '64 Dodge 330.

I know Harry, wrong bracket for a Chrysler. :)

It was just a last minute thing on the Chrysler.

I got a little closer to correct on the '65 Dodge.

Yup, sheet styrene is the easiest way to go. Look up the alternator bracket for the model year on Google for an image and draw the pattern onto the sheet, then cut it out, paint it, and mount it to the block.
