Total fantasy.

Scribed panels, resin rivets, Spaz Stix chrome, detailed engine. Wheel s from a 90's F1 car, tire's from two sprint cars. Hand cut and laid checkers, resculpt the nose and added the wings. Rear wing from the MPC McLearn Mb8, rudder from some random plane.

Thanks for looking in.

That's pretty sharp !  Great use of parts and really cool with the riveted panels and checkered paint .  I don't know much about these types of race cars and wouldn't have known it was a fantasy build if you hadn't said so ,  great work ! :D

Thanks Bob. I really have no idea about the Indy race rules during the 60's, so your not alone on the tech front. Lol

Thanks Michael.

Chuck, thanks man, and yes that was the inspiration, good eye man. I thought about doing the wing too, may still great around to doing that one day.

I'm a huge fan of '60s open wheel racers, and I could easily see this along side a Lotus type 49 at Watkins Glenn.  Fantastic imagineering.

Wow Lloyd, that is so cool in the right back ground I would mistake this for real.  Awesome job, maybe you will bring to Toronto in Sept would love to see in person.
