Kennyboy Posted July 3, 2016 Author Posted July 3, 2016 Looks good Ken. What 935 are you using as a donor, The AMT kit?thanks jc, been using parts from that kit, a Tamiya Porsche gt3 race car, and a Nascar kit.
Kennyboy Posted July 19, 2016 Author Posted July 19, 2016 Thanks guys.....and thanks JC. Used the front air dam from the Revell Civic hatch as a base to build off of, then modified it alot and smoothed it out. Have decided that this will be Al Holbert's car Dekon #1014
Kennyboy Posted July 24, 2016 Author Posted July 24, 2016 Looking good. Bodywork looks greatl Thanks Bob! So i got a little more done on the front end today....smoothed out/shaped the grille opening and added the crossbar with sheet styrene. Sanded and primed the front with white primer and filled/sanded the hood bulge.
aurfalien Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Looking good!I know right! The body work is super tight, very clean.
Kennyboy Posted July 28, 2016 Author Posted July 28, 2016 Thank you very much for the compliments guys.Mixed up the dark blue urethane last night for the main color, a little more sanding and blending on the body and away we go!
afx Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Ken, do you have decals for the Holbert car or do you plan to mask and paint the various colors?
Kennyboy Posted July 28, 2016 Author Posted July 28, 2016 Going to have to mask and paint it all. Don't have decals....going to be a challenge for sure.
