crazyjim Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 This is Revell's new chopper. I finished it in Pearl Ex aztec gold over 3 different shades of grey primer and then shot everything with a couple clear coats. It's all wired up and plumbed for gas and oil.
Darren B Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Very awesome bike I love the line that you used for the brakes, if you do not mind me asking what did you use for the brake lines? I really love how this one came out, very clean and the gold looks awesome.
crazyjim Posted July 8, 2016 Author Posted July 8, 2016 Brake. clutch, and throttle are Beadalon 7 strand bead stringing wire, .018 (0.46mm) x 60' and I use a #1 or #2 Beadalon crimp bead at each end. Part # JW03T and I get it at Michaels.
skymnky721 Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 Whoa! Really great ,clean scooter. Love those colors.

crazyjim Posted July 8, 2016 Author Posted July 8, 2016 Thanks Scott & Lloyd.Yeah Darren. That Beadalon wire is a pretty good interpretation of coated braided stainless steel lines used on 1:1 scooters. You can probably get it on ebay or Amazon too.

wayne swayze Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 I'm not into bikes a lot, but I might try one. What scale is this Jim? I like yours!
crazyjim Posted July 10, 2016 Author Posted July 10, 2016 Thanks Wayne & Chris. It's a Revell 1:12 scale kit.
