10thumbs Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Ha, I just had a laugh.Sure its been posted before, no idea. Just heard this on a German Movie Channel, "Jaws"."We need a bigger boat", or something along these lines. I don't remember the exact line from the movie, although I do remember standing in line while stationed at Bolling AFB in D.C. when the film first came to the theaters, back in 74-75. I'd just finished the book and a movie visit was A1 priority. So, from the German, I'd figure this is fairly correct.Anyway, you guys know for sure.

Snake45 Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Are you just going to stand there? Or are you gonna' start whistlin' Dixie - Clint Eastwood - The Outlaw Josie Wales.I think it's, "Are you gonna pull those pistols or whistle Dixie?"
Mike C Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 I think it's, "Are you gonna pull those pistols or whistle Dixie?"Great movie. I saw it in the theater when I was in college. But I have it on DVD.
Snake45 Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Great movie. I saw it in the theater when I was in college. But I have it on DVD.Same here on both counts. IMHO one of the two most quotable movies of all time, the other being Animal House.
SfanGoch Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Where are you from, son?Madison City, Missouri, sir!Never heard of it.
Snake45 Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Where are you from, son?Madison City, Missouri, sir!Never heard of it.[Cue "National Emblem" march.]
Crazy Ed Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 (edited) Where are you from, son?Madison City, Missouri, sir!Never heard of it. Not quite up to Oddball level but a Great scene nonetheless. Between Dirty, Kelley and MASH Sutherland had a wonderful series of characters that were good for a book of Movie Quotes. Edited August 4, 2016 by Crazy Ed
Snake45 Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Not quite up to Oddball level but a Great scene nonetheless. Between Dirty, Kelley and MASH Sutherland had a wonderful series of characters that were good for a book of Movie Quotes.Don't forget, he was in Animal House, too--though I don't recall offhand any particularly quotable lines from him in that one.
Crazy Ed Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Don't forget, he was in Animal House, too--though I don't recall offhand any particularly quotable lines from him in that one. He was also in "The Eagle Has Landed" where he played a Nazi Spy, but I was just sticking with the flicks where he was more front and center.
Mike C Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 Don't forget, he was in Animal House, too--though I don't recall offhand any particularly quotable lines from him in that one. Speaking of Animal House, You're on double secret probation.
blunc Posted August 10, 2016 Author Posted August 10, 2016 I'd rather kiss a wookie!Scruffy looking nerf herder.Oh, switch off. When you can take the pebble from my hand...
Mike_G Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 When you can take the pebble from my hand... Go get the hibachi, and try not to burn yourself this time
Snake45 Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 "That's how you do it."--Simon Cowell after a particularly excellent performance.
Agent G Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Paulie may have moved slow, but it was only because Paulie didn't have to move for anybody. Jimmy was the kind of guy that rooted for bad guys in the movies.Vinnie, don't put too many onions in the sauce.G
Agent G Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 By the way, I took care of that thing for ya.My favorite.G
Snake45 Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 No more runnin'. I aim to misbehave. Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! (Guess what I've been watching this week?)
