signmike Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Just finished this little racer. It was an experienc from the builder. The engine is a 4 cylinders made from a Pontiac V8. Was a fun built to do. Only thing is that the 2 parts of the cowling would have been looking better if the were glued together before painting. I left it unglued th show what is the car inside...
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Very nice.Indeed. I didn't get those very interesting front tires in my kits. Those are cooler than cool.
FordRodnKustom Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 WOW! Nice job! I know that kit ain't easy to build. Well done.
Crazy Ed Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 That came out very nice and your Engine detail is the equal of the Paint! I had a '63 LeMans with the same Basic engine in it.
Marlowe Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Very cool! What a nice model and a fantastic build!
Burnout Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Really nice work replicating a very interesting ride! I know that kit can't be easy but you pulled it off.
DrKerry Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 Very nice, I built this kit as well and it builds pretty nice. I left the clam shell body separate on mine, not sure why but!!!!Yours looks great Michael!!!!
signmike Posted July 24, 2016 Author Posted July 24, 2016 Thank you fellows, I appreciate your comments. This build was fun, the only little bog is that if you glue the body, you can't show the engine set-up, so I left it unglued. That's why we see an opening on the wasteline. On my display it does'nt matter much.
Rick Wolfe Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 That turned out super Mike, What color blue did you use? Thats on my to do list soon. Thanks and good luck on your next project, Rick
