Griff
First time building this kit, only messing with the body for now. i decided to cut the window moldings out and shave the drip rail off, literally my first time ever cutting into a model. I had to sand and re-prime about 4 times because the lines kept ghosting through, definitely learned a lot though. Im happy with the results, but now I'm stumped, I painted it satin black so I could try a polished or brushed aluminum finish on top, but now I really like the satin black!!! Let me know what you think. I did not use Tamiya primer as pictured, I used Automotive Touchup sandable primer spray can, it worked great and sanded so smooth. This was my original Inspiration, but I got some thinking to do now.
EL LOCO
This vehicle reminds me of the car Sylvester Stallone used in the movie COBRA. Nice work. Well done!!

Modlbldr
Very nice start. The only way to reconcile your delima is to buy a second kit and build it with the aluminum paintjob. Sounds like an easy fix to me.Later-
