I also don't see any good solutions to this, unless maybe the forum could introduce a "like" rating for a post. That way instead of the posts praising the update, members could simply "like" that post. The total "like" count could be shown in the post's header.

There is forum software out there that does this. We are not using that software.

So poor quoting, too many updates is deal breaker? Why click on it, then complain? Don't click.

Only reason why I'm staying in this thread and the other one is to get idea WHY someone does something that is positively going to annoy their "paramount" problem. 

There were a lot of OP's posts edited out, but it seems as these these threads are trolling. 

"My head hurts. I hit myself in head with hammer. I hate it when that happens. It's the hammer's fault. Where's that hammer again??"

Seems to make basis of problem reside in hammer wielder, right clicker.

well, Richard just said it all in one quick shot.......personally, I find build threads to be sometimes tedious as well, but on a forum such as this many do enjoy seeing and hearing about each and every detail of a members ongoing project. lets face it, for many folks, its not just the idea of learning more about car modeling, but its straight entertainment for many.....and there is nothing wrong with that. I admit since joining this forum just over 3 years ago, I seem to spend more time here than at the bench. but, everyone enjoys this hobby on different levels, so it's all good as far as I'm concerned..........the Ace....
