Anybody doing promo parts

Is anyone doing promo parts since Modelhaus closed ? I need a headlight for a 1963 polara.

Wow good luck with that one my friend if no one takes over Modelhaus it looks like the glue booms will be headed to the trash not the bench.!! I used to buy up every glue boom I could because I know I could rebuild it like new with the help of Modelhause it was the only way to get old AMT's cheep.

You just need one? If you have the other one, you might be able to clone it youself.

I don't see this as the end of the world.  If nobody picks up the parts business, it will just mean a lot of horse trading for parts.

I doubt we'll see anything like Modelhaus come this way again, but parts makers might start turning up.  It'll probably be more specialized.  Some guy who is nuts about early Corvairs might do parts and conversions for those, someone else who likes Imperials or Continentals would do parts for those, and so on.  When you see someone at a show offering something you need, jump on it.  Mail/online ordering will be sketchy, though, if someone you never heard of before starts selling parts...

Flintstone made/makes a 63 Polara. Maby you could e-mail and ask if they could make you some headlights.
