Conway1979 Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Was able to rebuild this Warrior and change out the exhaust on it, it was torn up a bit when I got it. I was really surprised that Italeri was able to send replacement decals for it as well. Added this trailer to it as I just moved from the Sacramento area. Hope you enjoy.
gatorincebu Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Now that looks really good ! Glad to see another model saved and made better. Good work ! Be Well Gator
signguy2108 Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Nice looking rig! I wish Italerie would reissue the 670. Trailer is nice too, how long is it?
Conway1979 Posted September 6, 2016 Author Posted September 6, 2016 Thanks for the compliments, the trailer measures out to 17", so scaled up it should be around 35'. seems kinda short to me.
Jim B Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Nice looking Volvo. Well done.Yes, the Italeri trailer is a little short (not long enough) & a little short (not tall enough); but it's just about right for a beverage P&D trailer behind a single axle tractor.
Conway1979 Posted September 6, 2016 Author Posted September 6, 2016 This was a Revell of Germany kit for the trailer, I'm looking to pair the truck up with an Italeri longhorn trailer when I can find one that isn't too crazy high on a price.
Jim B Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 They are probably the same trailer, just kitted be different manufacturers. The Italeri trailer is definitely not tall enough; it's about 12ft (scale) high, but it should be 13'-6" (scale). You'd be better off with one of the Moebius trailers.
signguy2108 Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 (edited) It would be a nice looking trailer if it were just a little longer. I used to own a 42' Great Dane that was only 12'3' high. Edited September 6, 2016 by signguy2108
kilrathy10 Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Good job on these kits.....I've never seen one of these paired up with a Volvo.....Does look a little odd, but still a good build.....I built one of those trailers, but I used two of them and made a 53'er out of them......
