Petetrucker07 Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 I'm lookin for comments, tips, any info and pics on the Galaxy trailers.
Force Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 I have three, one 44 foot goose neck, one 38 foot goose neck and one 21 foot tag along, but none are built. But they looks to be good quality and quite easy to build..
iamsuperdan Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 I built the 20ft trailer, and have the 35ft one in the stash. Easy build, nicely detailed, lots of little extras in the kit. THings like ramps, engine hoists, an additional door, different rear door options. Well thought out kit that goes together well.
BIGTRUCK Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 (edited) This was from some years ago I like this kit, I have more and need to do one of the smaller ones,, Edited September 12, 2016 by BIGTRUCK
Nova-ss Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 I love them all.I use the 3 axle tag as parts.the extras are good.the longer they get...the more planning goes into it for assembly .the 44ft which is no longer available except though those that have them.the weight causes issue with the torsion bar suspension. I've made copies of theres (scratch build) and made steel wire in the center so no sagging or postive camber happens...nice kits.......Chris
martinfan5 Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 They are decent kits, but really need a 1/24th scale tow vehicle.
DaveM Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 They are decent kits, but really need a 1/24th scale tow vehicle.True! They are almost too big for the Monogram Fords. They totally dwarf a 1/25 truck, and are really too big to carry1/25 scale cars. They work well with the early '90s Fords from Monogram and a couple of Monogram sprint cars in them, or a drag car made from the 1/24 pro stocks.

The trailers I think and this of course is just my opinion, they are too big for the style of trailers they are trying to be in scale.
